Being a stay at home Mom of three kids 4 and under, I ride the hot mess express weekly if not on the daily. I talk openly and honestly about the hardship that is being a parent, because I find truth and vulnerability to be extremely refreshing. We don’t have to put on a show, mamas. 

I’ve been photographing families for 10+ years now but the documentary work started once I had kids. That’s when I realized– we need to let our kids be kids. We need to capture their big emotions, their silliness, and their true essence while we can. Because that is what we are going to want to remember when we are sitting in our rocking chairs, wrinkly as hell. 

Here is what I love: the real, the raw, the weird, the loud, the messy, the mundane, the nitty gritty. And what I am passionate about is wrapping alllll that up in to a series of unique photographs for you, so you can look back and remember exactly how life felt in this very season. So that you (yes YOU Mama!) can be in the photograph for once. So that you can see just how incredible your every day is.
